The Borghese Museum is housed in a building which is set in Rome's most famous public park, both park and building were built in 1620 by the Cardinal Scipione Borghese, pope's Paul the fifth's nephew.

The Museum houses a magnificent collection of paintings and sculptures which have been collected by Scipione Borghese himself. There are masterpieces by Raphael, Titian, Caravaggio and some of the greatest and most fascinating stetues by Bernini.
