Guide a Roma - Tour - Funtains and Squares

This itinerary is a stroll through the most famous squares and fountains of Rome.

Our walking tour starts from piazza Navona where we can admire Bernini's fountain of the Four Rivers and the church of S.Agnese, the creation of brilliant architet: Borromini.

From Navona Square it is a short walk to the Pantheon, one of the most beautiful and best preserved buildings of ancient Rome. Rebuilt by the emperor Hadrian at the beginning of the II c. AD. On the way to the Pantheon one will pass the Senate of the Italian Repubblic and many other historical buildings. Crossing the Via del Corso we teach Trevi Fountain, the most celebrated fountaun of Rome.

From here it is only a short walk to the Spanish Square, for centuries the centre of the artistic and literary life of the city. In the centre of the piazza is the Fountain of the Barcaccia by Pietro Bernini. Here we can admire the scenografic Spanish steps built in 1723 by Francesco De Sanctis.
